The building is naturally ventilated with a sustainable wooden slatted rear façade with the front façade being covered by Corton steel with a punctured tree design.
BHC was responsible for fabricating and erecting 1.602 of hot-rolled steelwork and cold rolled purlins. All steelwork was shot blasted to remove mill scale and rust to BS 7079 before painting, followed by a coat of High Build Zinc Phosphate Primer to a Dry Film Thickness of 75 microns. The structures Primary Structural Steelwork is fire protected to a minimum of 60 minutes. All primers and paintwork were applied within BHC’s own paint shop facility.
All steelwork was erected and handed over within a 15-week time frame. BHC utilised their in-house steel erecting and metal decking squads. While on site BHC used their own 50 tonnes mobile crane and 85ft Access Platform.
