BHC were awarded the contract to carry out the design and construction of an extension to the existing Nevis Range Centre in Fort William. The project consists of Retail Shop Units and overnight Hostel type accommodation with a Toilet/Shower Block and a communal dining area to the ground floor, with overnight Hotel standard accommodation being provided on the upper floor. The new extension will also be linked to the existing building by a centralised courtyard area and overhead canopy.
Full internal fit out is also being carried out by BHC, with specialist Mechanical and Electrical Services being linked back to the existing building where required.
BHC’s early engagement and understanding of the client’s requirements ensured all aspects of the proposed design were tailored to meet the client’s and visitors requirements. At present, works are progressing well on site with a recently instructed, additional Bike/Ski Shed introduced to the project, being delivered within the original construction programme.
