Within the space of twelve months, we had completed two buildings on this steading.
A workshop and cattle shed, followed by the recent completion of a large cattle shed with a central feed passage.
The shed was designed with animal health in mind, featuring a 3” gap between the top and bottom wall panels to provide fresh air at animal level and a spaced fibre cement roof as an outlet to remove stale air. Natural light is enhanced with 27ft strips of heatguard polycarbonate roof sheets.
We provided a bespoke heavy-duty beef fitout, allowing the customer to shut the cattle into each area whilst scraping the passage or mucking out the bedded court.
All concrete and shed works were carried out by BHC’s in-house teams.
