Apprenticeships
The British Constructional Steelwork Association (BCSA) developed an industry specific apprenticeship program to help companies connect with local schools and colleges, creating a training pathway that leads to local job opportunities.
BHC Ltd offers the British Constructional Steelwork Association’s 4-year apprenticeship programme, which involves a wide range of projects that equip apprentices with valuable, lifelong skills that support our business, serve clients, and benefit the community.
The program includes dedicated training in fabrication, welding, CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining, and industrial spray painting, all delivered by our expert coaches. These trainers ensure that apprentices meet each module’s standards, providing oversight and verification when they achieve the required level of workmanship.
The skills learned enable our apprentices to be involved in the manufacture of large complex components with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on safety.
Our training programmes are designed to ensure employees are competent, knowledgeable, well-informed, and fully compliant with Health and Safety regulations, ensuring that we uphold the high standards of quality and safety in all areas of our business.
