BHC Apprentices Hard at Work

Apprentices Health and Safety Module

This week, BHC’s group of first year apprentices have been hard at work on their Health and Safety module.

The module forms part of the BCSA (British Constructional Steelwork Associations) CRAFT Fabricator Welder Apprenticeship Scheme. The scheme will guide the apprentices through various aspects of the job including marking, cutting and assembling steel components whilst being overseen by experienced Fabricator Welders.

Currently, our apprentices are working on their Health and Safety module which includes; demonstrating good working practices to reduce exposure to hazards, how to carry out work safely and the importance of leaving the workplace in a safe and tidy condition.

BHC will be hiring a new group of apprentices this Summer and will be holding our annual Apprentice Open Day on the 12th June 2019.

Applicants wishing to attend the Apprentice Open Day must register their interest by e-mailing Nicola Young – nyoung@bhc.ltd.uk .
