Exciting news- 65 Davies Street, London, has been shortlisted for this year’s BCSA Structural Steel Design Awards!
BHC delivered the structural steelwork for this seven-storey over-station development in the heart of Mayfair- constructed directly above the operational Elizabeth Line within a restricted footprint.
Highlights include slim, tapered floor beams to maximise ceiling heights, curved and exposed façades with architectural finishes, and fully exposed lift shafts enclosed in glass. Our scope also covered acoustic bearings, off-site intumescent coatings, metal decking, reinforcement, concrete topping, precast planks, and edge protection.
