Due to continuous expansion, we are seeking a Project manager to work on up and coming projects throughout the UK.

Objective

The Project Manager will be overseeing the whole project from the ground up and will have overall responsibility for all activities on site.

To be considered for this role you must have:-

  • A good track record of project management delivery within the Construction Industry.
  • Engineering Graduate calibre.
  • Excellent appreciation of project organisational constraints.
  • Excellent commercial awareness.
  • Great leadership, time management and communication skills, as well as the ability to motivate a team.
  • Good IT skills with all Microsoft packages and be able to pick up new software quickly.

Candidate must be wiling to stay away from home when required.

Allerton Waste Recovery Park on track to open.

Allerton Waste Recovery Park

On track to be fully operational by the end of the year.

BHC fabricated and erected 1,866 tonnes of structural steelwork for an energy-from-waste unit located in Allerton, North Yorkshire as part of a multi-process waste centre servicing North Yorkshire County Council and the City of York Council. Construction of the Allerton Waste Recovery Park commenced in February 2015 and is on track to be fully operational by 2018.

The structure of the MT building comprises of a single storey, multi-curved steel roof supported on steel columns on a typical 11.4m x 25.1m grid. The stability of the building is provided by horizontal steel bracing at roof level which transfers loads to vertical steel bracing positioned along elevations.

Orkney Hospital & Healthcare, Kirkwall

NHS Orkney Hospital and Health Care

Last month BHC Ltd. began erecting the structural steel for the new NHS Orkney Hospital and Health Care Centre, Kirkwall.

The new healthcare facility will replace the existing Balfour Hospital, two local GP Practices and the Public Dental Service.

The 14, 500 m2  development will provide 49 en-suite bedrooms for in-patients, assessment, maternity and mental health needs. Additionally, the new purpose built hospital will include Accident & Emergency, surgical theatres, day surgery and cancer & palliative care etc.

 

Had-Fab Ltd. Industrial Extension

Had-Fab Ltd. Industrial Extension.

Recently BHC Ltd. have been working on an industrial extension building for Had-Fab Ltd. 

BHC Ltd. have been making good progress on the extension, with the structural steel almost complete and rear wall in place.

The extension will cover the existing gantry cranes used by Had-Fab to give protection to the materials stored under the cranes and to protect the personnel that work in this area from the unpredictable Scottish weather.
